Below is a prezi sideshow that I have created to illustrate the effectiveness of my three products together and how the brand identity can be seen through each product.
Before choosing e4 as my institution for my soap, I reaserched the channels and looked at the shows they tend to broaddcast so that I could match my subject and target auidence to the correct insitution.
Below is the mind map that I drew up to look at the different broadcasters and their soaps.
Below is a link to the blog post I did after reaserching into all the institutions, explaining the guidleines I must follow to re create the e4 logo.
How effective are the character names is my soap?
As I was creating a parody of Made in Chelsea, the names of characters in my soap needed to match the genre and high class set in the existing version. Below is a list of the character names used in my soap:
Tarquin,
Sapphire,
Penelope,
Henry,
Rose,
Evangeline.
Each of the characters names carry a representation of high class and status which is portrayed through the mise en scene, camera work and edits in my trailer. And also through the conventions of both my ancillaries.
The names I used in my soap needed to match the high class of the existing soap Made in Chelsea but also something that people for, Manchester can relate to.
The characteristics of my characters were portrayed in each product I made. An example of this is when Tarquin is seen in the trailer with two different girls; Sapphire and Penelope and a phone at the end of the trailer where Evangeline is saying you need to stop messing about with my boyfriend. This story is also seen in my billboard where all the characters are looking at him and also I'm my front cover where it states that he is a Ladies Man.
